golden gate bridge. >> public safety officials in east palo alto say that emergency repairs to a levy that separated dozens of calls from the san francisco quarto creek are holding up. the creek overflowed on sunday night causing mandatory evacuations for seven homes. at least one home was damaged to the point of being un and habitable. water levels in the creek have receded after sunday's overflow which was the third highest in recorded history. no further work has been scheduled but the city continues to keep a close eye on the levee. >> all of the rain over christmas shutdown the southbound side of the upper great highway from lincoln avenue to slow boulevard. a spokes woman at the san francisco department of public works say that the rolled floods because the drains cannot handle all the water, especially during a

south bound at highway 84 there may be an overturned accident. it is unclear whether it is blocking any lanes. it is possible that it might not do much to slow the ride down. the traffic is so light this morning. >> the california highway patrol is reporting more than 1000 d.u.i. i arrests all just over the holiday weekend. the chp was in maximum enforcement mold started on friday and ended at midnight on christmas night. statewide 1060 drivers were arrested for driving under but influence. that's up from last year when 980 drivers were arrested for d.u.i. door in the same. in the bay area, there were 151 d.u.i. arrest. there were also three crashes that resulted in deaths. the chp remise drivers always use a designated driver as always
